Professor Morimoto is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of IVF JAPAN Group which includes two infertility centers, IVF Namba Clinic and IVF Osaka Clinic with 5,000 IVF cycles yearly. His main research field is in ultrastructural study on reproduction and mechanism of oocyte maturation. He practices integrated medicine including counseling, Quiong, acupuncture, and aromatherapy. He holds a variety of academic and administrative positions. Professor Morimoto is the President of the Japan Society of Assisted Reproduction, Vice President of the Japanese Institution for Standardizing Assisted Reproductive Technology, and President-Elect of Asia Pacific Initiative Reproductive Endocrinology.
