Professor Lin is a Vice-Director of the Key Laboratory of Human Stem Cell and Reproductive Engineering, National Health Commission of China. He has been the President of Reproductive and Genetic Hospital of CITIC-XIANGYA since 2017. His research interests include human embryology, PGT, and human embryonic stem cell. He and his colleagues firstly developed a next-generation sequencing platform for PGT, the “Microseq” technology to distinguish translocation carriers in the blastocyst, and produced the first cancer-free baby in China. He was also involved in the work to establish the first human embryonic stem cell line and clinical applicable embryonic stem cell bank in China. Professor Lin has published numerous peer-reviewed papers in international journals.
